Presentation

Centro AquaSendas is a non-profit, functional, community organization constituted by a group of researchers, school teachers, college and graduate students with a common interest in the conservation of Chilean aquatic ecosystems.

Vision statement:

To be part of a well-informed and empowered community participating in the conservation of local aquatic ecosystems.

Mission statement:

To foster interest and develop knowledge about natural and patrimonial water issues to create awareness and produce a positive change in the community about aquatic ecosystems.

Centro AquaSendas carries out its goals through science-education projects with middle and high school students, teacher training, community workshops and scientific reaserch of aquatic ecosystems.
