Madagascar Holothuries
The initiative
The overall objective of this project is to enable the development of polyaquaculture in coastal villages in Madagascar. It aims to train fishermen to aquaculture of algae and corals in addition to the training of holothuricultors they already had. The project provides scientific support to the development of these practices in the region of Toliara and Antsiranana. It aims to develop new aquacultivables resources such as new algae and new sea cucumbers.
