Do you have a fresh idea<\/strong> for an event or any concept you can come up with, which can help increase people\u2019s awareness and appreciation<\/strong> for the ocean?
\nShare it with us<\/strong> and we will try to make it happen! Make a video<\/strong> of your idea, submit it and maybe your idea will become reality<\/strong>!
\nIn addition you also make a unique chance of winning<\/strong> a day behind the scenes of an aquarium or science center or along the side of a marine scientist.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text disable_pattern=”true” align=”left” margin_bottom=”0″]\n

The ocean plays a crucial role in our daily lives<\/strong> but we are often not aware of this.
\nDid you know for example that half of the oxygen we breathe comes from the ocean?
\nOr that the ocean regulates our climate by transferring heat across the globe?
\nSea Change aims to bring about a fundamental \u2018Sea Change\u2019 in the way European citizens view their relationship with the sea, by empowering them to take direct and sustainable action towards healthy seas and ocean, healthy communities and ultimately a healthy planet.<\/p>\n

To increase the understanding of the ocean\u2019s influence on you and your influence on the ocean, we are looking for innovative concepts for events, or anything initiatives you can come up with which can help to increase people\u2019s awareness and appreciation of the ocean.
\nIf you have such a creative and innovative idea, make a video of your idea, submit it HERE <\/a>and your idea could become reality!
\nYou will also be in with a chance to win a day in the life of a marine scientist or behind the scenes of an aquarium or science centre.\u00a0\u00a0On top of that, the entry which receives the most votes will be in with a chance to win a GoPro Hero Silver camera*.<\/p>\n
